The Ocean Keeper Project
The Ocean Keeper is a Project initiated by Davines Asia to preserve the oceans from plastic pollution and preserve the largest ecosystem on earth. Our call to action is to encourage more people to join us in recycling empty bottles and reduce wherever possible, and make wiser choices when purchasing anything with plastic packaging.
Davines Malaysia has partnered up with CRC and Yellow Bin as well as our Davines Salons Community to spread more awareness regarding the Ocean Pollution as well as the small efforts that we start doing at home.
Ocean Keeper是由Davines Asia发起的一个项目，旨在保护海洋免受塑料污染。 我们的行动呼吁是鼓励更多人加入我们的回收空瓶并尽可能减少，并在购买任何塑料包装时做出更明智的选择。

Plastic and the Ocean 塑料与海洋
There is an island in the Pacific Ocean as big as the Mediterranean Sea, made by plastic coming from all over the World. We should not think just about caps and bottles, but rather about micro fragments, as small as a grain of rice. The plastic in fact never dissolves, but is reduced to tiny pieces, which cause enormous damages to biodiversity.
80% of ocean waste comes from the mainland, from us and our houses. We use plastic every day and without nothing it we are destroying our planet.
位于太平洋区有一个像地中海一样大的岛屿，是由来自世界各地的塑料品形成。别以为这塑料品的形成只有瓶盖和瓶子，当中包含像微米粒一样小的微碎片。而事实上，塑料品永远不会溶解，只会随时间漂流变成微小的碎片，造成生物多样性严重的破坏。
